8:30 a.m Our guide will pick you up at your, off we go. Tuyen Lam lake, one of the most picturesque lakes in Da Lat, is our first stop. The vast water surface is surrounded by rugged mountains and pine forests. Stopping here will set the tone for the day ahead: exciting and fun.
Next, we will visit the Chicken Village, an oddball attraction that is home to some of Da Lat’s ethnic minority groups. A giant statue of a chicken welcomes you and as you explore the village, your guide will tell the story of two star-crossed lovers that will give you more insight into Vietnam’s history and culture.
Your next stop is another village, one that is famous for growing different kinds of mushrooms. As you walk around, you will get a glimpse of the mushroom cultivation and harvesting process. You can even buy some–fresh from the garden– for your cooking adventures later.
Next, we hit the road again and make our way towards the Pongour Waterfall. On the way there you will witness many beautiful coffee plantations, rice paddies, and wild sunflowers. As stunning as these are already, the Pongour Falls are bound to take your breath away. 100 meters wide and 50 meters high, this waterfall is made of seven separate levels of terraced rock and a big placid pool at the bottom. Take a couple of minutes here to recharge, watch as the dragonflies buzz around, and of course, snap some pictures. And then it’s time for lunch
On the way back to Da Lat, we will stop by the Elephant Waterfall where you will enjoy exploring the area and getting sprayed by the cool, fresh water. Once it starts to get dark, we will head back towards Da Lat city and drop you off at your accommodation around 5:00 PM.
